GETTING THE MOST FROM ISCP

By obtaining consultant validated evidence that you can perform a procedure or manage a case, the ISCP website can be used to answer the question of “How do you know you are good enough?”. It also allows you to reflect on your own training and knowledge and identify areas for improvement. When applying for future jobs or training programmes the ISCP website can be your personal portfolio demonstrating clinical competence and progression of skills against a set standard.

The primary purpose of the following workplace-based assessments (WBAs) is to encourage feedback between trainers and trainees. We have summarised the objective of each WBA, examples of when to use each one and top tips on completing them.
